Do you take delight in sniper games? It is OK to confess it, you are among acquaintances here. You see sniper games are one of a gamers small secrets. Society tells you that life a sniper is a dirty and underhanded way to conduct yourself in battle, but out on the battlefield anything goes. You do what needs to be done to succeed and if that means laying in wait to ambush your rival then so be it.
In online games players dislike sniper tactics, claiming that “camping” as it is often times called is someways unfair. Surely it is up to an person player how they choose to play a game, or fight a war? Modern battlefield games are nearly really purposed at small squad tactics and this is fine as far as it goes. It is just that small unit tactics will have to likewise extend to sniper and spotter teams and not just a 4 or 8 man squad; with some goon carrying a squad support apparatus gun. No, let’s do things with a small finesse.
Ever since the phrase “One shot. One kill.” was popularised a heap of players have been drawn to games that give them an opportunity to emulate this system of belief on a virtual battlefield. This stands in sharp contrast to historical battlefields like Vietnam where the approximated number of rounds fired per rival killed numbers into a heap of thousands. No, that is not our way. Our way requires goodnatured tolerance and accuracy, not not the expenditure of sufficient brass to remake the Liberty Bell.
Thankfully games designers are beginning to be grateful for the planet of the sniper. Artificial intelligence is making it possible to have an NPC spotter that doesn’t get you seen and killed and won’t aimlessly blaze away on full automati as soon as you are spotted. One of the PC games due for release later this year that must place these recent advances into action is Sniper: Ghost Warrior. It promises unfeigned bullet physics and much more besides. I closely feel the urge to reach for my ghillie suit and camp out to wait for it is release…nearly!
2010 could signal the advent of a new type of military game for the PC and other platforms. It all depends on the success or failure of this one new game. If it is a roaring success then no doubt other games design houses will make their own releases in time and the planet of sniper games on the PC will thrive. Lets hope that it does.

Sleep is for the weak! By Chef Sean So I’m wandering down a valley sentiment pretty excellent regarding myself. I’ve just release-handedly wiped out a horde of monsters in a prison and walked off with a shiny pile of loot when I see an hideous giant sauntering along up yet to be. Like any courageous and noble adventurer I determine to behead him and loot his corpse. Huge mistake! This guy is way more than I may handle. I’ve employed most of my potions in the prison and this guy hits hard. My health is nearly gone and my thoughts get started to drift towards my last save when out of nowhere a dragon swoops in and scoops him up! My savior! I make a idiotic dash out of here and get started remedial with the shred of magicka I have left, hoping to make excellent my escape. Not so lucky I’m worried, the dragon finishes off the giant and drops me like a sack of potatoes. Oh well, next time I’ll know better, or will I?
